Dental Group enables dental treatments with “intoxication”.

Dental Group, in an effort to improve the provided dental services for the benefit of its patients, gives the ability for dental services under conscious repression (intoxication). The treatments are provided in the collaborating hospital clinics under the supervision of a specialist anesthesiologist. Intoxication is not general anesthesia and the patient returns home after the dental treatment without further treatment.

In a large percentage of patients, for those who is impossible to perfom operations in the dental office under local anesthesia, because of health reasons, we apply the method of intoxication and microscopic dentistry at the General Clinic ANASSA. Patients who can receive this treatment are:

  • patients receiving medication
  • children with difficulty cooperating
  • disabled
  • patients with mobility or mental problems
  • patients with mental illness
  • patients with severe vomiting reflex
  • patients undergoing implant surgery
  • patients undergoing closed and non-dental surgeries
  • phobic patients

Intravenous sedation (intoxication) is a very safe method in which the patient takes special drugs during treatment, has no consciousness, does not feel pain and after it has no memory of it, without having general anesthesia.

The intoxication method is performed under the supervision of a specialized anesthesiologist in a hospital environment, but without the need to hospitalize the patient.

After the end of the treatment, the patients of the clinic are under observation and follow-up program, in order to ensure the therapeutic result.
